I came to visit as a family of four and the three other members of my family all received their ice cream prior to mine. When it came to be my turn, one of the workers told the other worker her scoops were too big and my ice cream was much smaller than the rest of my group. I would recommend making these recommendations between patrons or out of earshot from patrons. If a group arrives and all order the same thing, their servings should be the same size. The best ice cream in the tri-city area. One of the few places that makes their own ice cream in the back of the store. It's always fresh and with new flavors every time, while keeping the fan-favorites in regular rotation.
I no longer live in Midland but every time I visit I make sure to stop in at Great Lakes to grab a cone of their Lemon Bar ice cream. Nothing compares.

Our family loves this place. The staff is always friendly. The shop is clean, air-conditioned, and smells amazing! But the ice cream is the best thing of course! Hand made cones! Great flavors! Try the lemon bar. It's my fav.
