Idli Dosa Indian Restaurant

I had only had Indian Food once before and just tried Idli Dosa for the first time last night. It’s so delicious and definitely worth giving this place a try! I got Butter Chicken, Veggie Samosas, and Cream Cheese Naan bread! 10/10

We visited Idli Dosa and called ahead to check if we could pre-order and dine in. They said yes, so we placed our order. While we were still eating, they switched off the lights, seemingly because it was closing time. When we tried to order something additional, the staff spoke to us with noticeable arrogance. The hospitality was very poor. If you value respect and good service along with your food, this is not the place to choose

Authentic Indian food. So, so good!! We had the buffet on a Sunday (offered Saturday and Sunday). It was perfect. Lots of different dishes offered. Definitely on the list to visit again and it's almost 2 hours away. That should speak for itself.

We were 7 members first time trying indian food and just walked in without reservations
They accommodated us
From the moment we walked in, the service was impressively quick—no long waits, just efficient, and fast delivery of our food.
What truly stood out, though, was our server. Paul He was very attentive, super friendly, and gave great recommendations
If you're looking for a spot that values your time, serves up amazing food, and treats you like a VIP, this is it.

Really disappointing experience. We placed our order before anyone else, but every other table around us got their food within 5 minutes. We kept waiting, and even after 50 minutes, we still hadn’t been served. We politely told the server that we were the first to order, but nothing was done we waited another 20 minutes after that, still with no food and no proper response.

It honestly felt like we were being ignored, and as Indian customers, the way we were treated felt very disrespectful. There was no apology, no explanation, just plain negligence.

If you do decide to visit, make sure you let them know in advance that you expect food to be served on time and that priority should be given based on arrival.

So fresh and flavorful!!! Honestly I was blown away by the Lemon Coriander soup- it's the middle of summer and it hit the spot!! It's that undercurrent of spice with the sour lemon that lays perfectly of your palette!

We had the butter chicken and Tikka masala which were perfect with the most layered garlic naan.

And let's not forget the service these men all provided. They were swift, friendly and polite.

The restaurant is clean with a hint of humor with the full Taylor Swift album playing during our dinner.

Passing through the area on our way to Detroit this was a hidden gem we wish we could come back again

I don't typically write reviews, but for this place it was DAMN good. Everything we got was super fresh and high quality.

I got the Malai Kofta the sauce was perfect. A good balance of your classic Indian spices and the fat of the cream to make sure all the flavor coats your tongue. The sauce also didn't have an overpowering flavor of a particular spice, very well balanced. Also the green chili Naan was just pure F#^king awesome. Got to mention the Mango Lassi too as a lovely summertime drink you can't get anywhere else in town.

Prices are very fair for $20 plus tip, for an entrée, naan, and a mango drink.

Pure good food and not too complicated. Will eat here again 12/10.

Food was really good, Really impressed.
Suggestion- Chicken tikka could be cooked a little more and served on a sizzling plate, it would take it to the next level. It was still amazing! Had this restaurant for the first time and already considering reaching out for catering! One of the best Indian restaurants have had in Michigan
