After years of dreaming about an Italian sub I had years ago in New Jersey, the wait is finally over. I have found that amazing distinct taste again at Jersey Mike's! I gotta have it Mike's way, with the vinegarette and herbs/spices to really get the full flavor- wow! My family also loves their Philly cheesesteaks, but I can't get past the italian. May be a little pricey to some people, but you are getting high-quality fresh sliced deli meats and cheeses. You can taste the difference - superior! Another huge plus is that they have a gluten-free sub bun. The rootbeer is also delicious.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free sub buns

I was super happy to find out that jersey Mike is good with gluten allergies, because there are very very few places that are. The first and second time I went they were phenomenal at being respectful and kind and very careful about keeping my food away from crumbs. The third time I went and was asked (per usual) if this was for allergy or preference, I said allergy, and saw the guy who had to make my sub roll his eyes and whisper to his co worker. No idea what he said, but it was rude and hurtful, and he did it right in front of me. I did not choose this, and feel guilty and like a burden EVERY time I eat somewhere, and behavior like this affirms for me why I don't go out. He also proceeded to apologize to the people behind me in line that it was going to take so long because of my allergy, embarrassing me even further. He was extremely friendly to everyone in the store, except for this, so it kinda shows that he's a big fake. Anyway, I haven't been back since and don't know if I will be. Which is sad because it's one of a total of 2 places that I feel safe eating.

A guy named Jimmy was berating an employee in slavemaster, humiliation style because he accidentally put onions on a customers sub. ALL of the other employees were, what seemed like scared, or unimpressed, maybe embarrassed by his behavior. Very unappealing atmosphere. The service from the other employees were acceptable. Jimmy spoke to me as well, asking if I had cashed out. His tone wasn't pleasant to me either. I'm betting that without Jimmy this would have been a great review.

Best tasting subs! Yes cost more than other sub places but it is worth it. Always clean, friendly, fast service. One of the few places I can eat at that doesn't cause me stomach issues.
