Two days in a row I attempted to use Live Oak for a large breakfast gathering. Day one the food was cold, and not ready at the scheduled time. We contacted them and they prepared the food again fresh and brought it to us. When it arrived the food was great. We were so impressed with the taste we ordered for the following day. When I arrived they had not started the order at the scheduled time, and the worked attempted to place the blame on us. She stated it needed to be ordered online, which it had been. Unfortunately the professionalism and service being so poor overshadowed the quality of the food.

This pains me to say, but the prices are out of control. $8.50 for a latte before tip. The ambiance is great and I have ALWAYS loved this place. I haven't been in a while, so when I saw the price (same drink was about $6 last year) and asked if it was correct, the barista gave me a glare and made a snarky comment, which is not the norm. I've always received great service, but things might be changing here. I sadly live out of state now, but I also don't plan on making any special trips here when I'm in town.

I think that the barista's at Live Oak are awesome and very attentive and I really like their maple latte. I add cinnamon in it and it is wonderful.

Incredible vibe and comforting feeling. Live Oak knocks it out of the park with the environment! Great house drip (Sunset and Midtown this trip) with plenty of other options. Enjoyed the lemon poppy muffin one of the mornings as well. I come through the area about 3-4 times a year and this will definitely be a staple stop!

We had an amazing experience both times we came in during our visit, this tells me they are consistent!We came in with family and asked a lot of questions, and they were super patient with us and the woman helping us explained everything! We asked about food and drinks and they were patient and kind the entire time. Our coffees were awesome, definitely handcrafted with love. My oat milk latte was creamy and hot and went so well with the muffin. It was just perfect. I also enjoyed a no nonsense bar. If you like oats and peanut butter, this is for you. So good. Great to go food, and they also make It in house. The kitchen is open so you can see everything being made. I love that feature in any eatery. There's a lot of places to sit here, upstairs seems quieter with small tables, and downstairs there is a variety of high tops and lot tables and a lounge area with soft chairs. There's books and games so being kids or being a book. It's a great place to hang out. They also sell their beans and a variety of fun merchandise. There's ample parking and even a drive thru. I wish I lived closer, I would want to work here I lived It so much! The staff was super kind. I'll be back when I'm in town again visiting family! Thank you!!

Perfect coffeehouse! Beautiful and relaxing decor with tons of space, well-curated selection of gifts (including their in-house roasted coffee), plenty of gluten free food options, and drinks with an emphasis on seasonal/local. Would basically live here if I could.
