Sandra, the proper taco salad is as follows: Spinach, spring mixed, mixed seasoned beans, corn salsa, black beans, fresh pico when seasonally available otherwise salsa, Southwest sauce, crispy tortillas and green onions.

Lois sounds like a nice, sweet lady of a certain age. Fun fact, she's not. She's sassy, with all sorts of attitude, she brings the heat and doesn't apologize for it. Kinda like the naughty librarian. "Spike is SPICY! Some people like the heat. Maybe it brings back fond memories of a warm summer day? Maybe they are just the type who enjoy a little bit of pain? Either way we have a nacho just for these individuals. Corn tortilla chips, shredded romaine and pepper jack queso are pretty standard and nothing to worry about. But then we turn it up a bit with ancho chile chicken, cayenne aioli, avocado salsa, pickled jalapenos, our house blend of pepper seasoning, black beans, queso fresco and pickled red onions. ""Sophia"" meat is a great substitution for those who refrain from animal proteins, or just want to try something snappy."

Proper Taco is a one of a kind place. The food is extraordinary. Don't go looking for mass market Mexican. Each taco is an amazing amalgam of flavors and textures.
Try anything on the menu, but order an Odin taco to keep in reserve. It's cool and fresh and calms the spices on your tongue.
No buyers remorse here. Do yourself a solid and stop in for a bite!

Their Tacos are amazing! Unique flavor combinations with freshness The Mango one has just a bit of a kick but so good. The Odin Taco is the perfect Taco to eat as your last taco because the Tzatziki dressing cools everything down at the end. The staff are super friendly. Must try if you want something that's different than all the rest!

My friends and I had an AMAZING time at Proper Taco! It was so much fun. We really enjoyed the food and they didn't mind that we sat and tapped for a long time afterwards! Wonderful place to catch up and enjoy some delicious food!
