The server was very nice, although the restaurant was busy and she didn't stop by the table often. The initial water server asked if we were celebrating a special occasion (which we were) but she didn't wait for my reply before turning away. Our 2-seat table was in the middle of the room and people walked all around us the whole time. It was very loud in the small dining room once the tables all filled.

First time and definitely not the last! We had a great meal all around. The wedge salad was so good with ranch dressing and bacon cooked to perfection. We had one of the specials which was a play on posole with sweet potatoes and also had the walleye. Both delicious. The chocolate cake and pineapple cake were both heavenly. Not a crumb to be spared. We will be back.

Food was delicious lobster deviled eggs totally worth a try my husband has the Rueben said it was the best he has and i had the tenderloin med rare was cooked to perfection and greens beens and baked potato was perfect, slower paced service so prepare for that on the weekend overall great place we will be back

$50 for my scallop special, and $50 for a Devner strip steak special were roughly twice the price of the average dinner item on the menu. Special prices were not listed, and not shared to us by the wait staff. Simply not reflective of the average cost of a meal from the menu, or from the pricing guide on Google. We were surprised and disappointed with the cost when nothing else on the menu was even close to that price range. Food was excellent, so was the staff, but treat the guests with more respect when offering specials. The most special part of the specials were the price. THAT was special indeed.

I like the casual yet classy surroundings, but it can be a bit noisy. Other than that, the food and service were outstanding. We started with a bread basket containing white and dark choices, which we devoured. So we had two. We shared burnt ends as an appetizer, and they were excellent. I chose the pork chop with sweet potatoes, carrots, and brussels sprouts for my entree. Everything on the plate was expertly prepared. My partner had the meatloaf and enjoyed it very much. I took the waitress' recommendation for a mocktail. There were many choices, and I took the first one on the menu. It was highly unusual - unlike anything I've had before - and quite good. So I had two. I will definitely return to this restaurant.
The waiter was outstanding. The steak was delicious. I didn't like the twice baked potato and my husband didn't like short rib ragu. The macaroni was also delicious and the desserts were good.

A wonderful meal in a beautiful setting. A perfect location for a date night or friends get-together. We are a family of 8, including parents & adult children. Everyone found something delicious on the menu and were blown away by the quality of the meal. Service was excellent (Thanks, Ethan!). Would highly recommend the 118 Penney Punch, the poutine, the short rib ragu, the gnocchi, and the pork chop. And those are just the highlights!

We visited this restaurant for a friend's birthday Sat night. We ended up with Ethan as our server. The food was great as always but most impressively was our service with Ethan. He was great with recommendations and checking in on us regularly without being over bearing. He allowed us to move our table outside and he would continue waiting on us. He brought out a delicious piece of carrot cake for her birthday and continued to bring drinks for us. It started sprinkling and he put a giant umbrella up for us so we could continue our night outside with the beautiful fall weather. I dont know if we can request servers next time we go but if we can, we would definitely be requesting Ethan. Made the night perfect for us!
