Tavern Burger was really good. Service was good. Would like to see a few more craft beer options but overall a solid Tavern in downtown.

Staff was rude when calling to ask questions, at least 5 minutes before anyone brought water or asked if we wanted a drink, follow up was very slow even though there were 3 tables occupied, put in food order, 45 minutes later went to check on the order to find out it was placed 40 minutes after we gave our order.

When we arrived... We followed what the signs said and went to the main bar. Then spoke with a waitress... She looked confused and spoke with another employee who then said ok. I asked, "Do we seat ourselves or do you tell us where to sit?" She said we could seat ourselves, so we did (Inside). Then it took about 15 minutes or so, before anyone acknowledged us... No menus, water, etc. We had to ask someone as they were walking by, we were right next to where they pick up the orders! Once we finally got a waiter, service improved and the food was pretty delicious.

We stopped in for dinner to celebrate a birthday. We got a great seat by the window and were promptly greeted by our waitress. Food and drinks were quick to arrive after being ordered. Portions were just the right size, and everything was very tasty! Overall, this is a nice but casual place for a bite to eat and drinks in downtown Midland!

Upscale eats, stop by for treats, Wonderful staff and great atmosphere . Right on The Commons next to all the action without the bustle. You'll love the experience. Ask for Monica for a unique spender.

If you want to get a fish entrée, you pay $20 for it you get little tray of fries, coleslaw, and some Gordons triangular fish three pieces what a deal what a joke!!! Rest of the food was ok at best! Way over priced! Said it was cod fish should advertise it it’s out of a box so people know!!!!

This place was top notch! All the waiters and waitresses help each other out as a team. We went out for date night first we had the deep fried pickles and they were stellar! Our son had the corn dog that was the best he’s ever eaten. I had the peanut butter bacon burger. It was the best burger ever. The wife had a chicken panini and it was the greatest. All the food was fresh. Great atmosphere and this was on a Friday night! Everyone should go out and eat at this place . Go out and support a top notch restaurant like the tavern on main . We will be back! Thank you for a great night!

The place is quaint and the staff was nice. The food was meh. My son had the wings. They looked good, plump, juicy and saucy. I had the Kielbasa hoagie with peppers onions and kraut. First, the bread was too much and the peppers, onions and kraut were dry and skimpy. They use what looks like Ruffles potato chips instead of a nice kettle chip or frying their own chips. Total game changer. Anyway, just a meh experience. Nothing special.

Visited Tavern on Main on a Saturday for dinner on the sidewalk seating area and listen to music. The service was very slow to the point I was ready to walk away. I had a Tavern Burger and ordered medium rare. Arrived medium well. I showed the waitress and explained I am going to eat the burger because I was hungry and did not want to wait an extended period again for a replacement. Only response was , I will let the cooks know. The burger was not worth the wait. Flavor was bland, the egg yolk was broken and fully cooked. I also had the French onion soup and it was also very bland. Overloaded with cheese. Save your money and don’t eat here. Many other very good restaurants downtown.

Tavern on Main is a fantastic addition to downtown! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The food was delicious, and the Chippewa Cranberry was perfect (and my new favorite cocktail)Highly recommend for a great meal or a night out.

Thought we would give Tavern On Main a try since it’s a new place in town. We really enjoyed our experience there! The service was outstanding; our waitress was attentive to all of our needs. We had side salads which were larger than normal for a side salad and I really liked the spicy ranch dressing. We each had 8 bone-in chicken wings with blue cheese and celery, which were excellent, and we shared onion rings which were very good as well; the only suggestion for those would be to offer some sort of special sauce for the onion rings. The food, drinks and atmosphere were excellent. The only thing I personally didn’t care for was the blue cheese dressing. My girlfriend thought it was good and she eats a lot more blue cheese dressing than I do. The waitress said that they make it themselves in-house, so it’s their own take on it; which is perfectly fine, just wasn’t for me.All in all, it was a great restaurant that we will add to our list of “go to” places in Midland!
