Horrible every time I have gone, I always give a place multiple shots in case I just encountered a bad shift or a rush but it has been bad each time. There is litter all over the floor and the employees are not that friendly. Almost every time I have gone half the lights have been off making the atmosphere not very warm. I also tried the apple kale slaw but was disappointed when I received a half of a container.

Truth Be Told
Don't go to this location the one on Saginaw is 1000× better. This location has terrible customer service and is nasty and the smoothies are never as good. I have never in my life driven out of a drive thru after ordering until now. I didn't even want my order after how I was treated. I will never go back to this location.

3rd time in a row the last 2 weeks smoothies were awful. taste like nothing but ice. 2nd time I requested it was remade didn't taste much better, but it was closing so I let ot go. today my mom wanted to treat us, so I told them how they've tasted and asked that they PLEASE actually put some fruit in them. they did. but the ice used was DISGUSTING! tasted like it had been chipped off a freezer that needed defrosted. we had to throw them away.

My order is wrong every single time. I could probably make it better than they do. One time they didn’t put chicken on it, last time I can’t even explain but everything was wrong - they didn’t even put the sauce in it. Somehow every time I order it there’s only sauce on the ends. Get it together or quit, y’all. Seriously people are wasting their money on this store, orders are always wrong, the people working there are clearly rude as seen by the many comments stating so, clearly the store needs a new manager.

Literally worst place to get anything. If you go thru the drive thru you'll be waiting at least 20 minutes for a simple smoothie the moment u pull up they tell you that you have to wait and then ur stuck there for forever. All I can say it just don't go to this one.

AVOID THIS LOCATION. We’ve never been treated so horribly at a business before. We specified to NOT put cheese in my sandwich as it’s a horrible allergy where I can’t breathe. What do I find? Cheese.My mother also received the completely incorrect smoothie and her smoothie is STILL wrong upon them remaking it. She also refused to remake it at first…We even specified our order at the window and she reassured us everything was correct. We were not able to get a receipt as they were out of paper.When we go inside to fix our order, we were met with HORRIBLE attitudes saying “well that’s how it was entered so that’s what we made.”How are we supposed to know how it was entered when we couldn’t get a receipt?! We verified with the lady taking our order and that’s all we could do.I understand being in a mood because things weren’t correct. But NEVER take it out on the customers who didn’t do ANYTHING wrong.They had the WORST attitudes I’ve ever come across. Rolling eyes, scoffing, and sassy behavior.Disgusting. I’m more mad at their attitudes than I am at the fact they put a bad allergen inside my food.

This is the best Tropical Smoothie location I have ever been to. The food was great, service was amazing, the staff were just the most awesome people! Looking forward to coming back!

I don’t ever write a bad review and I always give people the benefit of the doubt. But I stood in the store for over 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged I was even standing there waiting to order. A worker even walked past me after 5 minutes to go handle the drive thru and didn’t say a word to me, even though they made eye contact and saw me standing there. This whole time while I am hearing multiple people in the back talking about music and blaring songs. I even made sure to stand somewhere I could be seen if they were in the smoothie making area. I understand there is down time and slow moments at work, but you should at least frequently check to see if a customer is there. Especially a Saturday lunchtime. I’ve went to the other midland location the last 2 days, and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

Went in for a fruit smoothie and the kitchen was dirty. I said something to one of the employees about cleaning off a work surface that they were preparing a customer’s sandwich on because of cross contamination and she told me that they do that all the time. After that I eased back into a position to see them making my smoothie and was then asked to move back in front of the counter. You don’t have line of sight to the people preparing you food and that made me uncomfortable. It was apparent that me mentioning the dirty workspace was appreciated and it was not addressed. I asked for a refund after the encounter and was told “we don’t give refunds.” Horrible experience!

If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband and I ordered some smoothies inside the restaurant. While we were waiting for them my husband was watching the crew make food through the side window. He watched a boy making a smoothie for another customer, probably drive thru, wipe smoothie off the side of the person's cup with his bare hand and then lick his finger. No one was wearing any gloves at all and I'm pretty sure if we wouldn't have said anything he probably wasn't planning to wash his hands. After we confronted them about it they all just wanted to play d**** The boy told my husband "what's wrong its the outside of the cup". Of course there was no manager working either. We were so grossed out we didn't even drink our smoothies We will not be returning ever again??
