A beautiful place to enjoy a walk. Many different environments are represented. Friendly and dedicated staff. A membership is well worth the money. This has become one of our regular places to visit. We have yet to experience all of it.
We were camping near Benton Harbor with a couple of grandkids and drove 3 hours just to walk on this canopy. And it was very much worth the drive. The canopy was great and very easy to traverse. Definitely suitable for all ages, but the kids probably get the most out of it.
What we didn’t expect was everything that came with it. Dow Gardens was the property of Herbert Dow, the founder of Dow Chemical. He and his wife had an interest in horticulture and built a tremendous garden. There are plenty of walking paths, an interactive children’s garden, sculptures, a cafe, gift shop, and a museum that gives you the history of the property and the Dow family. There is so much more to enjoy.
This was a lot of fun and I can see us coming back to enjoy the garden some more. There was a $15 entry fee.
Good trip with the family (2 adults, and 14 and 8 yr old) spent a couple hours and certainly could have spent more. Different times of year would be fun to see as well. Kids thought enjoyed the canopy walk and childrens garden. They have some construction going on so it was a little hard to dind the parking lot hard on Google maps, but worth the work.
We had a great day at the gardens. So much to explore. Beautiful acres full of a variety of themes.
Unique canopy walk in a beautiful forest. We entered through Dow Gardens, so had a nice walk through the nicely landscaped garden. Also visited the rose garden and children's garden. Will likely go back again.
Early morning to mid afternoon walks along this beautiful and magical forestry, with plenty of room and play grounds for the kiddos and I am just captivated at this wonderful place. If you haven't been it's a bucket list must for all outside adventurers. Restrooms well maintained and clear paths
Grounds are super pretty. Construction was a bit of a nightmare and took us a while to figure out where to park, an employee finally stopped us and directed us. Lots of great walking areas and places to take photos, the grounds were clean and no litter. However we mostly came for the treetop canopy walk and were disappointed it was so short. We will be back to explore more though.
The talk on herbal teas was fun and In formative
All the staff here were super nice to our group, and Jonathan in the café was very patient, fast, and nice. He deserves a raise!
Beautiful!

Wonderful experience, looking forward to my next visit. Well worth the hour drive to get there.
Beautiful forest in the middle of town
Amazing view
Beautiful garden
A perfect way to spend Mother's Day! Got here early and didn't have any issues getting in or around the gardens. So beautiful and relaxing.
As we left there was a line out the door. No available parking in the lot.
