I don't know what's going on with this place. Someone posted that they are permanently closed, the store responds and says they're not. I try to order a pizza and the website is not allowing me to order so i call the store and it says they're closed.
Here's the thing. i actually like marcos pizza and I have never had issues with this location. Generally I find the staff to be quite pleasant and the prices decent. I would like to know what's actually going on at this location and what transpired to where they are now closed. My one star review will stay in place until I get a response..

Pizza wasn't cooked long enough. Crust wasn't even crispy closer to doughy. Kinda hit or miss pizza place.

They never deliver anymore and always shut it off on their website so the only option is to pick up.
Last few orders have been consistently good!

My husband and I are both really bummed as these were decently good-tasting pizzas BUT I ordered double sauce on mine and got NO sauce, just crust, cheese and toppings. He ordered a normal pizza and got NO sauce, again just crust, cheese and toppings. I did call to voice my complaint about my pizza but didn't know about his until I hung up. Pretty disappointed

I used to love this place.
But this is the ***second*** time my Italian Sub was overfilled with ingredients - but not cooked properly.
I know they used way too much meat because I’ve ate countless Marcos subs. The oversized sub doesn’t make up for the state of the final product.
The bread was still completely untoasted and the inside tepid at best. Cheese not melted, meat and veggies warm.
I think it was put in the oven the moment I arrived to pick up.
This is sad because it is costing the owner in extra materials and a poor product. Staff simply not paying attention or lack of training etc.
I have been a loyal customer for years - but I really think it’s gone down lately.
Staff were friendly and polite however.

This was the worst experience I've ever had at any pizza place. Soooo, let's start at the beginning. I placed the order at 6:23pm at this location for one reason and one reason only. It was on the way home and we didn't want to have to backtrack by going to our wonderful Tecumseh, MI store. I was given a promise time of 6:38pm. We arrive at 6:45pm and there's a lobby full of disgruntled looking customers.
Okay, my pizza might take a minute. I waited patiently until I was asked my name for the third time. BTW it's Mark. It's literally in the name of the restaurant that they're employed at. I started to get frustrated and I waited outside.
Ten mins later, I go back in and was asked my name again. I politely told the young man my name again. Oh mind you this guy told me twice at this point that my order would "just be a sec." After all of this I hear another guy reading off my order to be made at the line. Now my frustration is boiling over. I stopped everyone in the restaurant at this point and declared that if that is my order that I wanted it canceled and my money back.
I've already tipped them btw. I was going to walk away from that for no reason, other than I'm starting to get angry.
I was told by the "manager" that they "DIDNT KNOW HOW TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK." I was asked for my name, again. Yet this time they needed my phone number. I didn't remember the phone number because my number is locked to an old account that I can't access. I've asked about this multiple times as well.
Sooooo, back to my car I go. When I came back in they told me my pizza was in the oven already as if they were not going to give me my money back. At this point I was so very angry that I had my fiance go in and what she seen was unbelievable.
Employees touching there faces and making food. Consuming food and beverages by the prep line. I'm so mad right now that I refused to go back in. Scene prevented. Please don't eat here. Don't go here.
I'm so mad that I may actually abandon my favorite pizza franchise all together. If someone of importance reads this I would love to talk.
P.S. What chain restaurant doesn't have a dress code for its employees? Marcos franchise should be embarrassed by this location.
About the food. I don't know. Might just throw it out and get Hungry Howies or Dominos.

I absolutely hate giving poor reviews, but unfortunately this one is earned. I have a background in food service, pizza specifically. I understand out of control rushes, especially on a Friday evening. However our pizza was well over an hour from start to finish, when my fiance asked for his money back the (assumed)manager said she didn't know how to do that. He wanted to cancel the order and no one in the store knew how to do that, which is mind boggling in and of itself. What also blows my mind is the lack of hand washing, the CONSTANT touching of a wireless headphone (still NO hand washing), the consumption of food and beverage at the front counter by the employees, the wiping of hands on basketball shorts and still NO WASHING OF HANDS!!!! The time I can deal with, the lack of following health code is a whole other monster. 10/10 do not order from this establishment, lesson learned on our part.

I will never EVER order from this Marcos again. I was going to treat my kids to pizza after their first day of school and they completely ruined our dinner together as a family. We ordered around 8pm and we got a text saying our pizza was “running late and will get their at 9:07” we called once it got to 9:15 and were told the driver left “5 minutes ago and will be there in 5 minutes.” Once it got to 9:30, we called again and were informed there actually WASNT a driver on the way and they’d have to void our order. Not sure why they lied about a driver, as I would’ve rather they had been honest so my kids and family weren’t up waiting. So now I’m out $30, no pizza, kids ended up staying up later than anticipated waiting for pizza, and I had to find an alternative for dinner. Not to mention whoever was working on the phone was laughing while telling me she was voiding my order. I’d like to think the laughter was unrelated but it sure felt like salt in the wound after waiting an hour and a half for pizza. Thanks for ruining me and my families special pizza night, Marcos. We will not be ordering from here again.
