Hard to beat a true old school burger joint. From watching your burger grilling on the flat top, listening to oil crackle as the fries are cooked to perfection, watching as they assemble the masterpiece of a burger. Hits all the senses with a nostalgic and resounding thump! A throwback with the goods to put any new wave gourmet burger place to shame.
This unprepossessing burger joint in a small town is something of a hidden gem. Their burger is a smashburger that seems to be made of onsite ground beef. The pulled pork sandwich is actually a chopped pork with coleslaw and their barbeque sauce. The sauce is not a sweet sauce at all, nor is it mustard, it tastes like a vinegar based sauce but it is so heavily spiced that the spices make it thick. We've been coming here for 20 years or more and can confidently say "best burgers in Michigan!" We've traveled extensively around the country and are always trying to find a place better than here. Hasn't happened yet! Waitresses are great, vibe is casual, price is right 10/10 reccomend.
