So nice. Service is always good. & Food too. It was a bit noisy sitting outside next to Milford Rd, but otherwise a lovely cool day with Sunshine.

My Wife and I just finished up a week-long “staycation” and we visited Charlie’s twice. In the last year I’ve grown to appreciate whiskey - and Charlie’s delivers on that. Their selection is enormous. Over 400 pours I think? Bourbon, rye, scotch, Japanese, Canadian, and Irish whiskeys. And the pricing is extremely fair. Their “flight of the week” is tremendous value. During my recent visit it was a mix of Green River and Bardstown whiskeys. I also enjoyed a pour of Russell’s Reserve 15.

In addition to the whiskey, the food was incredible. The southern fried chicken and mashed potatoes, just wow. The walleye breading is incredible. The catfish bites are the best I’ve ever had. Their kitchen has yet to let me down.

Our servers have always been excellent. They are prompt and knowledgeable, and check in just often enough.

Lastly, I’m not a huge live music guy, so I really appreciate the patio in the summer. It makes for a great evening in downtown Milford. I’m looking forward to becoming a regular patron here.

This pizza slapped. The crust was thin but not flimsy, with that perfect crunch on the bottom and a little chew in the middle. You can tell they actually care about their dough — it had flavor
This pastrami sandwich did not come to play. First off, it was stacked — thick-cut, juicy slices of pastrami that were smoky, tender, and straight-up addictive. You bite in and it’s all flavor, no weird chewiness or dryness.

This is our favorite restaurant for date night. Not able to go as often as we would like. But the food and drinks are always delicious.
I usually get the Jumbalya or the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich.
The bourbon lemonade is my go to drink

I had the western old fashioned and it was mixed perfectly. We had the fried green tomatoes and deviled eggs as appetizers and both were delicious. I had the walleye and my wife had the Nashville hot chicken. Both were delicious. Pros: phenomenal bourbon selection, delicious food, nice atmosphere. Cons: a bit loud, floor was dirty around our table (pieces of food, etc).

While the food was amazing and our server night b was a fantastic person, the looks we got from the waitress who felt the need to come get our checks because our server was asked to not to return to our table, and the gentleman who set our table in a red shirt
Kept giving our table a look of disgust because our nephews had to use the bathroom a few times, as a lbgtq community person your staff should do better, I give our waiter props he was amazing but for the rest of the staff I’m disappointed Milford is a great community and I’m highly disappointed in how our table of 11 was treated.

Atmosphere, food, and the beverage list are all 5 stars. If I could rate Charlie and his staff a 10, I would. He and his restaurant are a gift to the greater Milford community. That gift extends beyond the food they serve in what they do on a regular basis in terms of giving of time, talent, and treasure.
