My husband and I visited on Black Friday and enjoyed our meal. We had to get the Detroit style since we were in town. Prices were reasonable. I saw they had burrata on the menu and decided I wanted that over pizza. That was very good. I liked the tomatoes and cheese. My husband’s pizza looked incredibly greasy. Like, oil dripping off it. Food has been consistently good, going back to the original New Hudson opening. Unfortunately the attention to detail isn’t great anymore - regularly missing toppings (eg., arugula, balsamic, etc) on pizzas, or basic requests (no goat cheese) forgotten. $13.99 for an entree house salad that is about the size of a side is also asking too much. Good food but find ourselves skipping it more lately.

If doing the Santa brunch I would recommend booking an early time slot. We had a 1pm and the food was all cold and the brunch spread was not worth $25 per person especially considering that didn’t include any drinks nor do they apply the $25 deposit you pay ahead of time to reserve it. The Santa was nice in appearance but lacking any sort of conversation with the kids. Overall I would go back and try some warm pizza again but their brunch is a bust.
