Came up north just to get away for a few nights decided to check out Ellies 12 tables for breakfast on Saturday! All I can say is wow! I had the hash browns and I was not expecting what I got, they were the BEST hash browns I have ever had! I don't know what kind of seasoning you all use and how you get your hashbrows that perfect but wow! Their customer service was amazing too! I just wish it wasn't three hours away from home! I had the salad with grilled chicken and homemade ranch dressing and hubby had the stacked ham and cheese sandwich. The greens were fresh and crisp and the chicken was grilled and seasoned nicely. The ham sandwich was warm and delicious with fresh tomato, lettuce and mayo on the side. Decor was a charming vintage county with live plants and clean bathrooms. Will definitely stop again when traveling in the area.
This is a very casual but good small restaurant. It seems to be the only one of this kind for breakfast/ brunch, so it can get quite busy. Going on a Sunday; if not thought out ca result on the “church rush”. In cold weather is challenging because it does not have a big waiting area. You can end up waiting outside!
