Outstanding food, service, and prices.
This place is definitely a destination by itself. Food was phenomenal. Service was excellent. The atmosphere and decor is fun. A Northern Michigan treasure.

The River House offers a very good burger and fries that are a little expensive but worth it. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is professional and great. Service is great and the server is friendly, found visitors and wondered how they was enjoying their trip. The menu includes solid options such as Brussels sprouts, calamari, beef tips, chicken marsala, lemon colada, Seafood Alfredo, fish and chips, and chicken soup. The Brussels sprouts starter is surprisingly complex, not just a deep fried appitizer. The lemon colada is very refreshing and the non alcoholic drinks are recommended. Outdoor seating is dog friendly, there is TV, lounging and family style dining. It is a perfect game day venue for any group size.
