We showed up around 4:30 on a Wednesday, the place was almost empty, and they had no interest in serving our group (5 adults and 5 kids). Almost all tables were empty (there was one larger group in the corner and one other 4 top in use on the opposite side, and they refused to let us combine any of the empty 4 tops. They said we could use 2 separate tables and sit the kids at their own table, but when we explained the kids were too young, they said we wouldn't fit at a combined table anyway (the kids were all under 5 and we could easily have fit), then they said the tables were spoken for. They obviously didn't want the business and were very rude about it, so we went down the road to the Drift-Inn Bar which was fantastic with very friendly service (HIGHLY recommend them).

After a long day of travel I was searching for a place to get food. I called 30 min before closing to see if I could order food as I was 15 min away and so close to closing time. The gentleman that answered reassured me that I have plenty of time and to come on in to order. Once arriving 3-4 employees greeted me warmly and helped answer questions regarding the menu. Great options for food - can get basic burger/chicken tenders but also culinary creative salads, dinners, & soups. I enjoyed the mediterranean burger, homemade French fries, garden salad and peanut butter chocolate cheese cake! They set me up to go and was very impressed how staff worked together and seemed to have great care and respect for this establishment. Very! Very clean!!!! Special thanks to the waitress that set me up with a treat for my service dog!

This has been by far the best meal I've had in the u.p. the combination of amazing dishes and services 😍 it is a must go and try. We had the house soup with the farm house salad... the best salad I've had in years, the goat cheese....lol amazing the all time best. The mushroom soup was just to die for. To finish my all ready splitting belly was the salmon and I'm not a fish guy, but omg this was the most flavorful dish I've had.. thank you for the best meal so far,we will be back
