I camped at the nearby state park and I always ask rangers where they like to eat. This place was mentioned and gave it a try.
It was so good! It was jam packed when we got there on a rainy day but we didn’t have to wait too long for a table. The waitress was attentive and not pushy. I had the Brussels sprout grain bowl and it was top tier. Unexpected for a bar in The Yoop. My friend had the burger and said it was the best one she had the whole trip.

Went a couple times and the Brussels sprouts and salmon bowl was good. However they ran out of sprouts and I got the walleye. It was too bony to eat and they gave 10% off. I do mean an entire mouth full of bones, so i couldn't swallow. Walleye are not particularly bony fish, they just have pin bones that need to be cut out of them. Fillets are transported there whole and apparently they dont actually prepare them. So I would not suggest ordering that and it makes me wonder...

If they have the Dill Pickle Soup try it! Pretzels apps are craveable and burgers are the very best!! It’s a must stop when we are in the Keweenaw!
