Best value and we will be returning. An old lodge that has been revived. It is very clean,in fact I thought it had just been renovated only to read in the diary that it had been open for a couple of years. It sets in the middle of the Keewenaw so were close to Copper Harbor and the Porcupines. Easy check in on Airbnb . Best of all was the proximity to the best breakfast place-next door and a best dinner restaurant across the street! Can’t wait to go back!

We were in room #11. Clean and smelled good. Amenities were thoughtful (couple of band aids, bug wipes, razor, face wipes, etc). Liked having a full pot coffee maker instead of those tiny 2 cup ones you find in hotels. Big bathroom with great water pressure (that was a nice surprise). Roku worked fine and the internet signal was strong. Think the motel was pretty full yet we never heard any noise room to room. Best of all is walking distance to Slims restaurant- do not miss eating there.

This motel meets an airbnb was a clean, near everything, and easy to find stay. Two walkable restaurants. Simple, new, and very clean. Had everything we needed for our week long stay. It is a cozy one room with a bathroom. It felt small, but we were out exploring, so it worked for resting and sleeping. We have traveled across the US and remodeled motels are my fav!

I stay here often when visiting the UP. Great location, must visit Slims cafe next door, close to amazing beaches, berry picking, copper harbor, brockway mountain.

Owners are very friendly and quick to respond. Rooms are immaculately clean! Perfect location to Copper Harbor, Mount Bohemia, and Calumet cross country ski trails. The Tavern across the street has amazing burgers and salads. We ate at the cafe next door for breakfast every morning during our stay. Would recommend 10/10Food & drinks: Great restaurants next door and across the street!

Nice independent motel smack in the middle of the Keweenaw. Great "base camp" to explore the Keweenaw from. Two good restaurants next door is a nice ding ding bonus. Walk from your room to breakfast and from the bar back to your room ;). I've stayed here many times and have never had an issue. Truly one of the better places to stay in the Keweenaw. It is nice to be able to support Ma & Pa places like this. A+Rooms: Clean - well maintained - decent TV & WiFiWalkability: Two restaurants directly nearby. One next door and one across the street - both offer good food and one has booze.

Room was clean and it was easy to check in/check out. It got a little warm without air conditioning but there was a fan in our room so that was helpful. You can easily get to other locations on the Peninsula within 30 minutes.
