Best value and we will be returning. An old lodge that has been revived. It is very clean,in fact I thought it had just been renovated only to read in the diary that it had been open for a couple of years. It sets in the middle of the Keewenaw so were close to Copper Harbor and the Porcupines. Easy check in on Airbnb . Best of all was the proximity to the best breakfast place-next door and a best dinner restaurant across the street! Can’t wait to go back!
We were in room #11. Clean and smelled good. Amenities were thoughtful (couple of band aids, bug wipes, razor, face wipes, etc). Liked having a full pot coffee maker instead of those tiny 2 cup ones you find in hotels. Big bathroom with great water pressure (that was a nice surprise). Roku worked fine and the internet signal was strong. Think the motel was pretty full yet we never heard any noise room to room. Best of all is walking distance to Slims restaurant- do not miss eating...
This motel meets an airbnb was a clean, near everything, and easy to find stay. Two walkable restaurants. Simple, new, and very clean. Had everything we needed for our week long stay. It is a cozy one room with a bathroom. It felt small, but we were out exploring, so it worked for resting and sleeping. We have traveled across the US and remodeled motels are my fav!
