Well, decided to try this place with my family for my mother birthday. The food was excellent. The service started great but slowed down quickly. After paying me and my family left. The waitress comes to the car very rudely saying I did not give her the correct amount of money. Now I know for a fact I gave her the correct amount and left more than enough for a tip. The simple fact she came with an attitude shows poor customer service. I will NEVER return and will spread the word to anybody traveling. not sure of her name but she had two pigtails in her hair and pink eyeshadow. Once I got home 3/29/24 I called to speak to the manager and explain the situation. He was no help at all and really seemed not to care.

This place is certainly something. Prices are not clear and are a surprise when the bill comes. When you ask for an explanation one is given but the numbers/logic/math behind it doesn’t make sense. I was charged $32(!!!!!) for an old fashioned with Sazarec rye. This is outrageous. The list price for a 1.5 oz pour was $18. I can buy a handle of the stuff for $50. The explanation was “it’s a double pour in an old fashion”. Roll that beautiful bean footage - I strongly question if 3(!) oz of readily available rye was actually in that bevvie. The drink was further made questionable by the muddled cherry and orange slice(!). Typically there is an orange peel and an Italian cherry on a cocktail toothpick - not fruit muddled to the point of disintegration.Stopping in for a drink was a mistake I won’t repeat. The business socials should have been the first tell - peep the Insta…beer is served in water cups - incorrect glassware posted with pride? A tell of a subpar place if ever there was one.

Had reservations for wedding anniversary which went fine until set under lrg tv in corner with a party of around 12 set in front of us and our backs less than a foot from them. Waitress couldn't fit between our party to deliver food. Our waitress was not as attentive as I would have liked. She spilled steak juice all over my son's jacket and pants when she served his steak to him because of the cramped seating. She brought him some soda water. The food was good but atmosphere for this meal was uncomfortable. This is the 2nd time we ate here. 1st time same thing with seating....there will not be a 3rd time.

If you order the crab be sure to ask what the price is, we paid $120 for my husbands crab. I got Prime Rib and it was tender, but no flavor. The waitress was nice, but did not come back often to check drinks. We won’t be going back.

Well, I guess you don't go to a chop house and order pasta! My husband's steak was tasty though. The view from my table out of the window..... IDK because the window was so dirty.

Just ordered my husband and I a valentines dinner because we unfortunately couldn’t go out to eat and when I got home our salads had so much sauce on them the lettuce was nearly disintegrated. The pasta I ordered had no sauce on it so I was eating plain noodles. That’s not the best part, not only was my take out 80$ and I understand mistakes happen, they were busy and it’s Valentine’s Day, BUT when I called to see if I could get my salad and pasta re made the manager said NO!! Unbelievable. I have ordered from here multiple times, but I will not be coming back. I am disgusted by the customer service. Do better Angelo’s.

Not gonna ding them on the stars because this place is typically awesome. We have been going there since it opened up. We had a bad experience tonight though. The perfect storm I suppose. Normally I’m laid back and go with the flow but this irritated me tonight. We came in, got seated quickly and greeted by our waitress quickly. We placed our order quickly, two steak dinners. My wife ordered the side salad and I ordered the cheeseburger soup. Both were delivered to our table swiftly. Moments after the waitress left we realized that we had no silverware. No knife to butter the rolls. No fork for the salad. Not the end of the world. The soup came with a spoon but the smell was rancid. It didnt take long to determine that it must have been simmering too long and had charred at the bottom of the pot ruining the lot. I don’t know how the waitress didn’t smell it because it was apparent moments after delivery and one small taste confirmed it for me.Again that’s not the end of the world. I’d have ordered a different soup or a salad. What got me a little frustrated was sitting there for almost 20 minutes while I watch the waitress across the room running around doing other tasks. Two buckets of ice from the kitchen to the front. Over to the computer terminal doing something. Still in eyesight but too far to politely motion for her or speak to her. At this point I’m expecting the entrees any moment. Finally she came to the table and saw the soup and asked if I wanted something else. I told her no and that if it was all the same to here we would just like to leave. She said fine and walked away. We hadn’t ordered drinks or appetizers so the only items that had been delivered to us were ice water, the soup, the salad and a bread basket. None of which we touched. However I kinda expected to have a managers show up at the table once the server realized that we were upset. Not just have her walk away from us. I guess everyone is entitled to a bad day. She was definitely working the whole time and not somewhere screwing around which is admirable. Regardless it was frustrating to me. Maybe we will try again next week and I’ll update this review.

I'm from Texas and I didn't know what a 'Chop House' was but very quick to learn. I really enjoyed my steak, cooked perfectly, great flavor and my Caesar salad was delicious. Now the mashed potatoes and asparagus left a lot to be desired. Thankfully we got dessert and it was more than I expected. I think it was called 7 layers chocolate cake, I could certainly taste the different chocolates. It's a very minor thing but it's a nice touch when you get your salad dressing in a small bowl but when it's served in a tiny to go cup, it seems to lessen the upscale feeling of the restaurant. I'd love to go back and have their Caesar chicken anchovy salad. I'm very glad we tried this Chop House.
