I had a lovely French onion soup at Angelo's! I was also impressed by their prime rib. Our group had a couple of dish mix-ups but they were cleared up quickly and without any further trouble.
Nice place. Busy and loud, but tolerable and fun at the same time. They screwed up both meals but were quick to be willing to get something else. Service was good, especially the hostess doing her best to seat us efficiently. Now the desserts... thats the 5 star part. Do you see the size of that 7 layer cake? It took me 4 days to eat it all. Was delicious!
Good selection of beers and a full bar. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked, oh so good. We have been there a few times this year and it has always been worth going even though it is a bit of a drive for us. A good place to go on a date or special occasion.
