Probably one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to, and that’s saying something. The staff was fantastic, the food was cooked perfectly, and the setting has this nice relaxing vice to it. Definitely recommend!
It's sorta dingy looking with really old decor, and it took us an hour to get our food even though the restaurant had only two other tables with guests besides our 2 person party. HOWEVER, the food was absolutely delicious! I had the veal marsala, my companion had the chicken marsala. We also asked about deep fried mushrooms, and they don't have them anymore. Waitress said the menu changes frequently because everything, and she stressed the word everything, is made...
Continuance of past elegance. Great staff. Best real yellow belly perch - not the Canadian, large European river perch (cut into small pieces to look like real yellow bellies) which are captive raised in lake Erie waters (hence legally billed as lake Erie perch). Steaks are great. Just love going there.
