Everyone in there was nice. I remember it from the 80's and it wasn't a "Safe" Place, but I heard that wasn't the case anymore. My 82 Year Old Mother has been in there. It is Cash Only. It's a small place.
I’d never seen this place in my life but when I saw it I knew I had to drop in.I came in through the front door, had a seat at the bar and got two things immediately: a friendly greeting and a cold beer.Flatscreens had sports on, NASCAR and Lion’s football (it was Sunday after all), with a few regulars watching the action.I finished my beer, had another, then it was time to go. Down in the area for work. Stopped in this quaint little epitome of the old polish neighborhood bars that dotted the streets of Ohio and Southeastern Michigan. Extremely clean and The last of a dying breed. Well worth popping in and admiring the art deco bar and history of the mosaic tile entryway.
