Was oblivious to the cash only rule, which I'm sure was posted but didnt see. Not only was the Young Lady kind & professional, but 100% trusting for us to come back today, tomorrow. Whenever it was fine. 10mins & a quick run to the bank, no problem. The kindness shown in that moment is why small town is still where I'd like a homemade cup if soup & a hot Sammie with Asparugus & quality allover it. Thank you Ladies! Much love ❤️
Had a delicious old fashioned malt. This place is cash only and isn't going to change any time soon. The owner is a rare gem, one of those people you can sit down and listen to for hours, a charming, sharp woman who says it as it is and means no harm in it, only truth. We stumbled into it by accident, but if we pass through again, we'll stop 100%
Decor is history related, so I definitely recommend those who are interested in small town history to look...

We had sandwiches, and I had a cup of chili. We also split some pie and a chocolate malt.
Service was great, food was awesome and incredibly reasonably priced.
The aesthetics are awesome, as this has been a working soda fountain from the late 1800s.
They only take cash, but it's worth every penny! I highly recommend!!!
