Visited the Old Channel Inn for the first time this week. New Chef and new menu. We tried some old standards and some new items. Everything was very tasty. The cocktails were solid. The owner (Trish) visited our table and she was delightful. This place has a classic Michigan roadhouse feel. The menu merges that classic style of food with some modern twists. We cannot wait to return.
OCI is always a must for us to go to when we're up here. Great food and drinks, friendly servers, and we love the atmosphere. It's right by Lake Michigan, too, so we walk there after we eat (it's a 1-2 minute walk) to take a few pictures, see the sunset. We definitely recommend Old Channel Inn!
Left here MISERABLE but in a good way. The Swedish meatball soup was a meal. Took three bites of the brownie sundae and I think I left my body. The food was amazing Drink was top notch and our server Terri was a doll.
