Left here MISERABLE but in a good way. The Swedish meatball soup was a meal. Took three bites of the brownie sundae and I think I left my body. The food was amazing Drink was top notch and our server Terri was a doll.
I get it, this place has great tradition and the people who live around here or summer here think this place is the cat's meow. But if you take your blinders off you'll realize the food pretty much sucks and the mixed drinks are very poorly made. Was a one and done for me. Never need to return. If you are from Chicago - make sure you lower your expectations. This is Michigan! They are known for trees, not good food.
First time visit to Montague and found this wonderful place! Very laid back little restaurant off the beaten path, food is delicious, waitstaff quick amd very friendly.
