The service was excellent especially when there was only 1 waitress and roughly 20 plus customers. The food was ok, the hamburger, taco salad and nachos were good. The French dip basically didn't have any taste, hate to say it but Arby's French dip taste better.
We both got the perch dinners, and my husband also got a salad. We got generous portions of perch (5), some kind of fries which were fried until golden & crispy. We feel we got a good deal for the $$
The GOAT!! The new (sort of, the newest) owners are killing it. They brought it back to the old Wayside. The girls hustle and are attentive to service which has definitely taken a hit at most of the other local pubs (since COVID). Do yourself a favor and if you're thinking of hitting a Pub for drink and barfood and head to the Wayside. If the fried asparagus is in season order that. The portions on that are insane. Other favs are fried Waleye on Friday ($10.00) Are you kidding...
