“BRIGHTON - was established in 1833 along Bean Creek. It was then discovered that there was another town by the same name and its new name became Morenci. There has been some controversy as to the history of the name Morenci, one story is that was an Indian name, the other story is that it comes from "Mount Morency" and that they changed the "y" to an "I". Two men have been given the most credit for the name, Simon D. Wilson and Jeptha Whitman.”

“Love it here, I've been asking differing Subways to make me a sandwich how they would make their sandwich, doesn't matter who it is, and Ive done it a few times at this location and I haven't had a bad sandwich yet, love it here and the Sandwich artists if you will, are great at what they do and are super nice! It's real food with fresh vegetables and not cheap overly processed Chinese food that you see at other restaurants.

“Traveling through Ohio and stopped at the hotel across the street. Front desk recommended this diner. We were greeted and seated immediately. Waitress brought our drinks right away. We weren’t sure what we wanted and she told us the portions were huge (we saw other guests plates and she was not lying!). When we hesitated, she told us it was fine if we ordered off the kids menu. My sister got the kids spaghetti and I got the kids cheeseburger and fries. Even these portions were big!! Food was out to us very quickly and it was delicious. We treated ourselves to strawberry cheesecake for dessert. Absolutely delicious!! This is right off the Ohio Turnpike (Rte. 80). Highly recommend!!”
