I had a really hard time deciding which stars to give to each category. because I don't know if our experience fell under any of them. honestly. The food was good. the service was fantastic. our waitress was great. the atmosphere was really none quiet, boring blah. He didn't order anything fancy. some soups salad, a burger and some pasta and it took the chefs 50 minutes to bring anything out so the waitress could bring it to us. And it didn't even all come at once. three bowls of soup and one salad came out while two others had nothing in front of them. And that took another 15 minutes to get pasta and a burger and another bowl of soup. One of the kids soup was potato soup and it got cold so fast. it was like only the top of it was warm. I don't know they need to do something because there was probably maybe 10 people in the place. And the waitress did say oh we had an 18 top come in right before you. that's no excuse to me. You're the chef. you know that you have orders coming in just by looking at the size of your restaurant. you expect to have large parties and tables full. You also should be able to manage the orders and time so that people don't have to wait an hour for something as simple as a hamburger or some pasta. especially for the soups because you know that they're already warmed up sitting Just waiting to be served. And the fact that it got cold just shows me that it was probably sitting out in a bowl waiting to be served for a minute or two before it was even brought to us. if you're going to eat here just make sure you got a couple hour block going on for yourself to be free because an hour that's going to be waiting just to get the food that you took a half hour to order.

The service was great. Our waitress was very nice and checked on us frequently. The food wasn't as great as the service unfortunately. The appetizers were good but overpriced. The southwest egg rolls were the best thing we ordered. I ordered the Guinness burger for myself and I didnt want to finish it. Overall, the food was generic and was missing flavor.

I had a take out order for a Monte cristo. I haven't eaten at a Bennigans in years and haven't had a monte cristo in that time. I always remembered Monte cristo being delicious here. I was going through Mt. Pleasant on my way home and decided to stop and get one. It was fresh and warm when I picked it up. But the flavor tasted like it was fried in old oil. It was nothing like what I remembered. I was very disappointed in the Monte Cristo. It was a cheat meal as I don't eat food like that anymore. It wasn't worth the cheat ?

Had the 1/2 sandwich and soup combo, the white chicken chili was zesty and the Monte Christo was amazing as well, tried the egg rolls with pineapple sauce and they were delish! Great service too, thank you!

This place has gone down hill. Fabric on booth seats torn, food sub-par (my sliders were the size of quarters and at $13 guess expected more) slow service, over $4 for a soft drink. Good by Bennigans, we’ll find a new place in town.

I got the reuben fritters and a side of maple bacon brussel sprouts. Both were very good!! The place was completely empty, but our server seemed oddly impatient. Most of us ordered only appetizers, but it still took quite a while for our food to come. We all enjoyed our food and luckily we weren't in a hurry, but it felt like we were at best an afterthought, or worst, an inconvenience. I'd go back, but not with enthusiasm, and definitely not without time to spare.
