We made our way to Mt Pleasant for a concert (Foreigner, Loverboy). Yelp helped us find the Bird. The four of us had cheeseburgers with varying accoutrements. We all enjoyed them, all commenting on what seemed like special buns! I also had the jalapeño poppers - I'd get them again. The vibe is one you would expect from a college town - vibrant. Staff was short handed but made it all work - friendly and attentive. Drinks were as expected. What was unexpected was the bill.....GREAT VALUE for what they charge. We will be heading back when we find ourselves in mid-Michigan.

Probably the best bar downtown, bar tenders were cool and friendly. Pizza was great, the waitress wasn’t exactly rude but she definitely didn’t wanna be there and wasn’t all that friendly. It was busy so I’ll give her that

A typical local’s dive bar. I was in town on business and was hungry for nachos. This was one of the only places in town with nachos that was open for lunch. I sat at the bar. There are two sides to the bar. Lots of people were on the other side. The bartender took care of me right away. I had a mixed drink and it was a strong pour. I ordered the chicken nachos. I don’t recommend the chicken. It was cold and mostly gristle. I ended up picking out the meat. Warning, these nacho were HUGE! I had plenty to take back to the hotel with me.
