The food is great. The son of the owners is rude at best and should not be in a hearing range. He's rude both to his mom and the customers. There is no atmosphere. I'm pretty sure it is really meant for order and pick up only. However, they do offer 3 tables in a very small lobby area. You do wait, as the food is cooked to order; but, it's worth it.

I'm not sure what's changed my family usually orders from here once a month. We live 30 minutes away so we place our 3 individual combinations ( the combos are large enough we eat it for a few meals) then we order a large order of crab Rangoon and 2 orders of spring rolls.Everytime the woman seems so judgemental of our food order, which I've been able to overlook so far however... this time I called ahead she cut me off while I was ordering and hung up on me. We took probably 30 minutes to get there and they still hadn't made half of my order. I ended up sitting in the resteraunt waiting for the rest for 20 minutes to have her announce loudly with an attitude "here's your large order." all in all I'm over it, the foods gone down hill and so has their hospitality. They left another man standing at the counter and didn't acknowledge him for 15 minutes while I was waiting. Not a hi, how are ya... nothing...If you're looking for a good Chinese takeout, i know its a bit of a drive but there's one in downtown alma, it's a small take out place just like this one but the people there have always been kind to everyone. The food is fast and fresh and tastes amazing.They won't judge, ignore or hang up on you. They appreciate your business.

Called in an order way ahead of arrival but they cut the call. Ordered a 5 piece Rangoon but they made a ten piece charged me more than I expected but at least it’s good food. Sucks she didn’t start my order until I got there even calling it in good luck with thatVegetarian options: I think there menu can be made without meat I prefer vegetable lo mein that’s available I only order lo mein and Rangoon ask for vegetable fried rice it may be available

Have been eating here for years food has always been good, we get the Generals Chicken. Yesterday the place was less than clean, we had to wait for over forty minutes in the restaurant for our food. The food tasted of old grease. The chicken was very small bits of fried breading , in most cases you could find no chicken and there was no taste.The white rice was old and gooey. The egg rolls were dark brown and hard. I couldn't eat mine as I started not feeling well after just a few bites. Didn't feel well all night, just kept burping the old grease taste and had pain in my stomach. Not our favorite restaurant any more, will not go back.

Ok so I've been going to this restaurant for many years and no surprises then when I say the absolute best flavored Chinese food you can find anywhere in central Michigan area. The people that run it are some of the hardest working employees and really care about getting your order to you with first class service. Actually I love the food and I am very fond of the people that work there. I guess that really is why I keep going there!!!!
The food was amazing. There were only two people working so it took a bit longer to get our food but it was so good and the portions were very large. This place is the definition of a whole in the wall restaurant but was the best Chinese I've had in a while!

Wait time is horrible!!!. If you plan to call in a take out then you should also plan to wait over an hour.We have called in takeout multiple times and have waited over an hour each time. Absolutely crazy and the food is most definitely not worth the wait.
Pork egg rolls weren't very good. The crab rangoons didn't have much cream cheese and you got sick of them after 2. The chicken lo mein for some reason tastes like your eating chicken noodle soup. Very odd.

Okay this time they really ticked me off!Called in an order and she sounded stressed and told me 30 minutes. I showed up after 45 and still had to wait ANOTHER 50 MINUTES! It will be a LONG time before I trust them again. And that's sad because I've been going there for 20 plus years.
