Never have a bad experience at hunters! My only complaint is the bread knots used to be my favorite things in the whole world. Now they seem to be frozen before they're cooked? Because they're SUPER hard to chew. I miss the soft ones I used to get ?

A friend who lives in the area recommended this spot for dinner after I finished a shift working at CMU. We met up on a weekday around 5:30 and it was pretty empty so we were seated right away. The booth we sat in was comfy and spacious. The menu is pretty typical brewpub fare, with sandwiches, salads, pizzas, etc. We started with the Hunter's sticks, which are cheese stuffed breadsticks, served with ranch and marinara. These came out first and I liked that they were cut into pieces for easy sharing. The breadsticks were a bit harder than I might have preferred (I was hoping for something closer to a soft Bosco stick) but they were still tasty. The ranch was particularly delicious. For dinner I ordered the steakhouse salad, medium rare. Nate got the Cajun chicken club sandwich and our friend got a crispy chicken wrap. The sandwiches and wraps come with either chips or fries, and our server told us that there's no up charge for fries, which is nice and not that typical. This is also a brewery so Nate tried a couple of their beers and seemed to like them. They also have a full bar. The food was quite tasty! I liked the salad although it was pretty salty, probably the bleu cheese dressing. There was a generous amount of steak and it was cooked nicely. I had a couple bites of Nate's sandwich and I thought it had great flavor. Overall this is a nice neighborhood spot that I'd come back to, since their menu is pretty large and it seems like there's something for everyone.

The honey salmon and smashed potatoes were delicious. I even received two pieces of salmon because one piece was small. You don't see that often and it was thoughtful. The beer was great! The French Dip sandwich while it was good came out cold. Our waitress was nice but it took her forever to check on us throughout our dining experience. I do understand that restaurants may be short-staffed but this was after the rush and not busy at all.Either way, I would go back.

Service was really good but the food was not so amazing. The burgers were burnt almost and very dry. The fries were ok. The buns were not so great. Drinks were weak.

At this venue for a private party, and ask the bartender to break my $20 for a round of darts. Intentionally hands me back $15 dollars and walks away. You think you would have reputable employees for a private event I guess not, avoid as I’m sure they are even worse during regular hours. Even worse, the other bartender said he is reputable for doing that and at least offered to pay me back. Thumbs up to him.

We only stopped in for a beer and a snack after shopping at Menards. We had never been, but chose Hunters Ale House because it was the first lit up place we saw last night at 10:30. We were from out of town and treated very well! The pizza, the beer, the service were all very good! Next time we need to go to Menards we'll have to stop in again ♥️
