Ignite Donuts in Mount Pleasant is a total hidden gem. You can taste the care in everything they make — they’re a completely holistic bakery that makes their own brioche dough from scratch and even does handmade jams. The donuts were genuinely gourmet, and the paninis that we ordered were absolutely divine (seriously incredible flavor). Add in great coffee, plus owners and staff that are friendly and welcoming, and it was an easy 10/10 breakfast. Couldn’t recommend them more — if you haven’t been yet, go.

I stopped in Ignite Donuts on a Friday afternoon. I wasn’t expecting anything. One of things that impressed me was there were two people in front of me ordering. The employee who was helping them noticed it was going to take a little longer than expected. I didn’t mind. Without being prompted he called for an employee in the back to help me. He didn’t yell or scream. He didn’t need to do that, but he did. Putting the customer first like that is awesome. As far as the quality and taste of the donuts. They were excellent and so much better than a franchise. Ignite Donuts keep up the great work. Found you on TikTok and it was worth the 2 hour drive.
Such a cute little shop! I wish I would have had more time today to grab a coffee and enjoy in the cute cafe area. I was there for donuts and WOW we will be back! YUM!

Ignite Donuts is a cozy little slice of heaven in town. The owners are wonderful and always strive to make the best, and then a little bit better. While I was raised on a different type of donut and find theirs a bit denser and harder than I’m used to, they’re still very tasty. The food is excellent, and the customer service is always on point. With a couple of great coffee shops in town, it’s hard to compete, but Ignite is a great spot to grab a sweet treat and a cup of coffee. I’ve tried their coffee a few times, and while it’s not my personal favorite (I might be a bit of a snob when it comes to espresso), it’s definitely worth giving it a try—you might love it!
