I have never gone here in the 20 plus years I've passed it. Went today with the fam. The mushrooms were hand breaded, they were great. The burger was tiny and a bit dry for my taste. My kid's Mac n cheese was very blah, probably the worst thing we had, father verified, since the kiddo didn't finish it.But overall, the idea of the old time restaurant is cool and it's definitely something different. From out of town visiting friends went to Jon's and had the best chicken strips! Onion rings were everything you want in an onion ring - and I have been looking for a chocolate shake like Jon's my whole life - delicious ?
Back this winter I came here a handful of times and I loved it .The olive burger was amazing and their fish and chips are really good . Super friendly staff , And the old school diner atmosphere is relaxing .
