The service was so slow even when there was only two other tables the rice tasted burnt and then put in the microwave, definitely will never go there again

Terrible experience food didn't come out at the same time one entree followed by another entree then a few minutes later. The server was not attentive and couldn't be bothered to check on us. For the place being empty it took an incredibly long time for terrible food. Way over priced I see why it was so empty at prime lunch time.

This place is awful in 3 years me as a traveler wanted to try this, but unfortunately this restaurant thinks they can close and open at their own convenience, drove 30 minutes away and they closed the doors 🤣

Ugh! I wanted to love it but could barely get through one visit. First let me say the guy cooking our hibachi was super fun and nice. The service was non existent - never asked anyone if they wanted refills, brought me my bill without asking if anyone wanted dessert, and never cleared soup and salad dishes. The place was dirty (like we were swapping plates to try and get a clean enough plate to eat on). The chairs were shaky, the table was sticky. The food was decent - standard hibachi fare - with noodles. And in a place like this you should really specify what's vegan or vegetarian and make those options clear. I took my two kids, one of their girl friends and my wife. One is vegan, one vegetarian and one pescatarian. There was no discussion about what could and could not be used with the tofu. I'd like to say we'll be back but I don't know if they'll be open that long. Also they were out of sushi - they lost a lot of money on our table! One of the pictures shows how much water was in the bottom of the salad.

Vegetarian options: They SHOULD tell us!

Went for hibachi. Had a reservation. Hibachi part didn’t start until over an hour that we were there. They weren’t able to make any sushi. Waiter was rude, short and not great serving our group. Over charged me, couldn’t explain why and I had to just deal with it. Hibachi chef was nice and did okay once they finally started. But I won’t go back or wouldn’t recommend.

Absolutely the worse hibachi I've ever had. There practically are no vegetables, the fried rice is just rice soaked in soy sauce. I asked for a medium rare steak and got beef jerkey that was cold. The waitress did take it back and presented something that was eatable. Customer Service is outstanding but I would never come back for the food.

While the food is unquestionably average, the real highlight of Kuji has to be the hostess Ella. If you need food recs that's one thing, but to get a hostess with the IQ of the next Isaac Newton and the swagger of Samuel L. Jackson, well, you can't really be surprised when you walk in and instantly get a good impression of the joint. Also, good on the owner Isabel for doing her best in a tough & competitive environment.

I'm from north west Indiana.. the hibachi places are way better. This place was empty at 730, should have been my first clue. Portions for 3 people here are what we usually get for one person back home. Ordered shrimp and ribeye combo. Ribeye was the a thin strip steak about 4oz at most. 6 tiny shrimp accompanied.... very disappointed as this was my granddaughters birthday meal. Didn't engage at all... basically cooked food in a hurry and left... won't return. Side note, server brought her dessert while he was still cooking our food.....ummmm.... REALLY!!!

My son just loved CHEF EDWIN'S show. Thank you again to Both Chefs for making this an amazing experience for us!

Kid-friendliness: We had an incredible birthday day dinner for my 7 year old son thanks to Chef Edwin ! His good energy with fire tricks and knife skills kept us entertained. The food was cooked to perfection—especially the steak and chicken, which were juicy and flavorful. Chef Edwin was so engaging, Funny, Attentive, and made sure everyone was having a good time and engaged in conversation with us . Then Chef Jose came in with a birthday cake where both Chefs proceeded to Sing happy birthday to my son which just lit up his little heart. We can’t wait to come back for another delicious and fun night! Chef Edwin & Chef Jose were very kind and funny. Thank you both for making this day unforgettable!
Also the waiter Yoan was very kind and attentive to what we wanted and very patient with all the kids.
So thank you all for showing us a amazing time.!!!!

Went to dinner here, it was so empty. The table wasn't cleaned very well actually found a hard piece of rice on it. The poke bowl didn't come with any rice. The scallops and shrimp were over cooked for the udon. The flavor of the udon and portion was fantastic, as was the California roll. We probably won't be going back here it was very underwhelming.
