Max & Emily's Bakery Cafe

This is a must visit place! Not only is the food delicious, environment friendly, and is located in the heart of downtown; but, the team that works there, the owner Elmo, and manager Brandy work so hard to put on amazing programs for the community. From feeding hundreds of people facing food insecurity EVERY Sunday through their People Helping People program to putting on stellar community driven free summer concerts, Max & Emily's Eatery exceeds all expectations and goes above and beyond what a "normal" sandwich shop can do. This is not a "normal" sandwich shop, this is a must go to location that I will always support and you should too!

Not what I expected when I walked in. If you can't find a sandwich you like here, you don't eat sandwiches!

I love this place. It's a staple of downtown Mt. Pleasant. I usually get the Ruben which is top tier scrummy! I've never had a bad sandwich from this place. I love the outdoor seating too.
