this is a really nice place to eat if your just trying to go with the family to get something they’re snowballs are amazing even though this used to be a bbq place and it still has pulled pork best restaurant i’ve been to in a while.! but i would kinda like to see the pulled pork comeback..

Great food if they ever open back up. Haven’t seen the doors open in over a year I do wish they would open back up they had the best bbq around. I loved it. There was never a problem with the food. I was the best around. The problem is getting the place open.

This review may be a little long but ya gotta hear it. I was there today and I 0rdered 4 street tacos, 2 pork 2 beef, and I wait 15 minutes ok I think than 25 min,I'm not any happier 38 minutes I go to the window,. Hey man you forgot a order?, no I FORGOT I gave that to someone else on accident. 38 minutes prior. I'm willing to bet my house on it my smoked foods are better, period. I just seen the owners response and I'm a little let down, constructive criticism should help you young man. Please don't take it the wrong way, this should of lite the fire under you to do better. Please learn from your mistakes don't get mad at reviews and I will be back to eat ?

Awesome BBQ and meat. Prices are hard to compare as there's nothing else like it in the area.

I had the Bayou Sunrise snoball. I have to say they are 1000 times better than snow cones. So tasty! I'll definitely be back for more! Next time I'll try the BBQ too! Thanks Doug!

Ordered here for my birthday and it was SO GOOD. Different choices for sauces to keep everyone happy and the food was amazing! My family wants the baked beans recipe and if I could, I’d own stock in their brisket ?5 meals were brought out to us in under 10 minutes and the staff was super friendly and helpful! Great experience and will definitely be returning!Additional note: I have to add that I LOVE that they keep the sauces on the side and not directly on the meats! It allows the person to choose their sauce, but also allows them to not have sauce if they have dietary restrictions! Like my diabetic boyfriend which BBQ sauce is dangerous for his sugar levels but he was still able to enjoy that brisket ?? THANK YOU!

Simply Put.....BEST DAMN BBQ in Michigan, possibly the entire US. If you have not had a chance to try Maxon's Blue Country BBQ, you are missing out on some of the finest BBQ around. Maxon's started out in California, and unfortunately for us, moved to Mt Pleasant, Michigan. People would line up 20 Deep for some of his Pulled Pork Sandwhiches. If you are in the Mt Pleasant Area, you need to take a couple of minutes to visit Maxon's. You will not be disappointed.
