O'Kelly's Sports Bar & Grill

I just stopped in for lunch on a Saturday, got a menu right away and the lady took my drink order, when she brought my drink, I was ready to order, but she sat my drink down and spun around and walked away, no biggie, but then I sat there for 40 minutes, drank my drink and she never came back to take my order, or anything for that matter. I had to end up going up and asking the bartender if I could just pay for my drink because I had to get back to work and she told me that they were really understaffed and they were sorry and I said well I came here to eat lunch all I got was a drink and I wasted 45 minutes now I got to go by fast food and eat it on my way back to my job I don't know just seems like b******* several people came in after me and they got waited on hell one of them even got their food and I never even got my order taken maybe they need to bring more people in I don't know the server looked at me like I was being an a****** and I said listen I got to get back to work I wanted to eat food here but you all forgot about me 🤷🏼‍♂️

Horrible dance music blasting in the corner. Drinks are fine but wasn't sure why we need to be padded down on the way in. This is Mount pleasant not Detroit. Is there that much crime at CMU?

They stole my money. Tried to order a drink. To save the bartender some time i handed here the exact amount of money + tip and told her the drink that i would like to have. She made the drink, brought it over and claimed that i never paid for it, which i did 1 min ago. After reminding her that i just handed her the money i was told that the security will remove me if i don't leave the bar now. It was my second drink of the night so i was not drunken or anything. The first drink that i got was a beer that was expired since 1.5 years. It should be illegal to sell something like that. Fist and last time.

The hostess was fast to tell my boyfriend and I that there was outside seating because he had his service dog with us that goes everywhere with us due to his condition, the waitress we had to continue to get her attention because she seem to want to have conversation with the hostess rather then paying attention to her customers.

Watched a server allow and actually take a photo with couple that allowed a dog on the table. We won’t be back. Dogs don’t belong in restaurants period.

Tried the SmashBurger. It's a good burger, with or without cheese. Atmosphere is very nice, great service from friendly staff. Lots of parking, but could be tough to get in on game days.
