After reading the reviews, I was skeptical of this cafe but I risked it for the biscuit. We ordered the banana nut latte, it was indeed suuuuuper good as stated on the menu. I also encountered the barista who was said to be rude in the reviews; this was very misleading information as he was cool as coffee beans. All together, if you’re preparing to come to this coffee shop, i highly suggest you do so

Ordered coffee drinks here only but they were very good. Alcohol is available as well. Customer service was nice. Fits well with the downtown community vibe. Could maybe use a few finishing touches inside but overall a nice lil coffee shop or nightcap type of place it seems.

Slow service isn't even the main issue, but asking about your order that was nothing like you've been served before and being responded to with an attitude and raised tone of voice is unprofessional. I try to support local but I'll walk further to go elsewhere next time.

Great atmosphere, Autumn was our server and she was fabulous. Coffee was good and our roasted potatoes were pretty fire too.

Overpriced and slow and inexperienced service. I get that they serve so called craft cocktails, but $10 for a two sip drink is outrageous. But definitely don't order the bloody Mary, it taste like a water downed pickle. On top of all this it took 25 minutes for them to make our two drinks.

Went in asked asked if they would accept a flyer for a book sale, the gentleman behind the counter said no and waved his hand at me. Was on the phone the whole time.

Pleasant City Coffee is my favorite coffee shop in town. It is my favorite place to meet up for coffee with a friend, or spend an afternoon cranking out a project! The atmosphere welcomes all members of the community. The food is always excellent, and staff friendly. My kids love their hot cocoa, I love their iced tea, and baked goods from Detroit!

The regular at the counter is more friendly than the guy behind the counter. There was one couple in front of me looking at the menu and one group of boys all sitting down with the drinks and food already. Once it was my turn to order the guy said “it’s going to be awhile there are A LOT of orders in front of you” I said no big deal and waited….and waited…….and waited…. All while he’s running around like chicken with its head cut off making 2 crepes. He took my order looking very overwhelmed and annoyed at my audacity to order something at this establishment. Paid with cash and got an exasperated sigh. Sat down to wait for my drink (just a drink bc I knew better) he did not change his gloves between making orders. My 30 minute wait was up and my latte was lackluster. Burnt esspresso and too much syrup. Will not be back

Stopped for 30-45min break. Outdoor patio space is cute. I found one outlet for laptop. Unfortunately the service was disappointing. There was one couple on patio playing games, 2 single visitors-all who'd been there awhile. There was one group of 5 and myself. We ordered 2 cocktails and were told it would be 20+minutes because cuz they just got super busy(not really) and the guy had to make a bunch of crepes. You only have one person who can make the crepes and cocktails? The cashier could only do coffee :( This is not really guest friendly. So, unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy anything.
