This should have been a 5 star - great time until locals with bartender bonds take over. Slightly immature adult woman… only one, the house service response was unacceptable. I recommend keeping to yourself if you visit and “know your roll.” Hurts me to leave my first negative review ever. To be clear, it was only one bartender. The other staff were impeccable, so thank you! Some positive feedback- karaoke was so fun! Great 3rd party company, and drinks are very inexpensive! So go there with friends, not alone….unless you’re a confident woman looking for an altercation:) I’d love to speak with the owner, if interested, please respond with contact info.

Never in my life has someone taken my id at a bar,I’m nearly 25 years old. The bouncer said nothing to me and took my REAL ID into the back and threatened to keep it till we said we’d be fine calling the police to verify it.

I really enjoy Rubbles, the bartenders are cool guys and the drinks are good. I do have to take off a star for the last time I went; the latest bar crawl. I was confused to see them refuse to honor Bar Crawl shirts as cover, charging 5 dollars to cover the band fee. Wasn’t the biggest deal, so I paid it and went to the bar. Asked for a single well (a $3 deal they were running according to the bar crawl flyers), and I was told they would only be serving doubles - no singles and no deals. On top of it all, we stayed 40 minutes past when the band was gonna play. I’ll still go back to Rubbles because I really enjoy the people there, but I was a little disappointed with their bar crawl involvement.

Bar was alright. Bartender was friendly enough. Extremely drunk female patron yelling at the top of her lungs loud enough for both sides of the bar to hear. Openly screamed at my friend when he simply asked to please take it down a notch.
Bartender did nothing but laugh. I cannot stress enough how much this bar is not a welcoming environment that gives two shits about new customers.

It's your local neighborhood dive bar. It's a mix of very young college kids and random locals. There is karaoke and it's generally chill. It can get hot and stuffy.
