we came here for the first time to celebrate my friend's birthday. Our server, Abigail was excellent at personalizing the experience, knowledge of the menu, checking in and following up. We would highly recommend her. We enjoyed the drinks, and our entrées, the surf and turf and the salmon. The manager, Christina made our drinks to perfection and also stopped by to see how things were during our. visit. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and easy to get to. The only thing I would change about this restaurant would be the atmosphere. For such a nice experience, it feels more like a casual diner atmosphere. it would be nice if the lights were dim.
Came in for breakfast after the evening before they asked a group of ten not to dine in 30 minutes before they closed....the hostess lady was frazzled by the group of 8 we came in with and said we should have let her know ahead of coming in? Upon walking through there were many large groups and our waitresses openly made fun of the hostess for causing such a ridiculous drama. Food was decent I guess for a hangover.
Friends baked potatoes showed up with a hair on it, my other friends pasta showed up cold. Took over an hour for our food to even come out.
Don't waste your time here, go to Ruth's Chris instead.
They didn't even offer a discount and the server was terrible.
Nice place. The food was very good. Of course by the time the cake got there we couldn't control ourselves this is what was left. Josie was awesome.
Amazing customer service, the food is okay just not the best. I liked the omelet I got anx enjoyed the cup of coffee. But I just felt like it was missing something idk. It felt expensive for what we got.
epitome of fake fancy. server was kind, but food was lukewarm and tasted incredibly bland. found a fiber from a washcloth or hand towel in the potatoes. just go to ascend lol.

This review has nothing to do with the Waitresses, Waiters or Hostesses
The food in this place SUCKS.
The prices are outrageous.
The last 2 steaks I got, New York Strip and Prime Rib were tougher that a 2 dollar steak.
I literally hacksawed my way thru them with a steak knife.
My mother tried the pasta dish that was pure garbage. It was grossly undercooked and stuck together in one large clump.
The “Chef” says that’s the way they cook it in Italy. I’ve eaten at Italia Gardens for years and never seen a clumpy mess like this.
She took one bite and couldn’t eat it. They refused to take it off the bill.
We have gone here for years, never again.
Save your money, the food sucks and the supposed “Chef” sucks.
Bartender Sheredy was amazing! Super kind, friendly and patient. We visited after the Evanescence concert and will be back again. The food was excellent and so are the prices. It is a nice touch having a drink related to the concert! The raven was delicious and tastes like grape kool-aid!

Service was ok- a little slow considering it wasn’t busy. Toast was burnt. The decor is lovely.

I will start with what was wrong with our time here. Service here was horrible. It’s a shame when you are paying good money for a meal, ($85 for 2 people with no alcohol) and your server acts as if you are bothering him with the fact he has to wait on you. We came in at 8:45pm on May 25 (Saturday) we were watered promptly and told our waiter would be right over. When he got to the table he asked what we wanted to drink and was very short and as soon as we told him what we would like he quickly left. His tone was that he was irritated he had to even wait on us. We were thinking maybe they closed sometime soon so I even got up and went to check the hours. They closed at 11pm. So well over 2 hours. Every time he brought something out- if we asked for something he would quickly leave before we could even say anything to him. I had to wait for condiments and was brought ketchup instead of cocktail sauce. I asked him about it and he said no it was cocktail sauce. So I just did without it since I was not using ketchup on my shrimp.
Now for the food. I started with the tortilla soup. It was ok for soup. Nothing amazing. We got the cheddar biscuits before the meal and they were phenomenal. I ordered the filet tenderloins with shrimp. It came out beautifully presented and had amazing sauces that it came with. I asked for fried shrimp instead of grilled and it was delicious. My friend got the burger with fries and said it was pretty good. We choose not to get dessert because we did not want to deal with our servers attitude towards us.

I would love if they bring back the chocolate cherry cheesecake. I had it way back in July of 2023. I should have posted this review sooner but I crave that heavenly masterpiece. I also love the food here in general.

Food was great! Was actually perfect.. but the busser lady was in a bad mood slamming plates, cups and silverware and cursing loud enough for us to hear her.. gave a uncomfortable vibe as my husband and I were the only ones in the back area. Our waitress seemed super confused and lost on what she was doing.. food was 10 out of 10 service was awful..
