Good beer good people

Came to the restaurant as my family had never been here before. Ordered our drinks and being a BBQ joint, I as a vegetarian ordered the same thing I have had here time and time again (my go to). A burger with the meat and cheese on a side plate (paying for it anyway and my husband will eat it) with the bun with all the veggie together. After sitting there for sometime enjoying our drinks our waitress comes over and says there are no modifications in the kitchen tonight we are training kitchen staff. Well after some back and forth I asked for the manager. No joke, the manger comes over and says “I hear there is a problem with the onions”. Cancelled our entire meal for table of 4 and won’t be back. With no customization there is nothing I could eat on the entire menu. Disappointed

Eric the manager was off the charts. We had 16 guys come in on a Friday night and he got us seated right away. Very accommodating and Kaylee our waitress was amazing. The food, the service everything top-notch.

Mt.Pleasant has restaurants on every street corner, and there are very few that have decent food or decent service that I would write home about. Summit is different, when I go in there, I am always treated very well, greeted and treated like I'm the only one in the room! The food has been excellent everytime! I had a burger and a salad that were so good! The jalapeño poppers were amazing as well! I always feel better when I leave, than when I walked through the door. The atmosphere is different than anywhere else around here! The staff is very knowelegable and accommodating if you ask for any deviations from the menu! Summit smokehouse is my go to for good food in Mt.Pleasant!

Summit Smokehouse is the place to be. We came in as a family of 5 (3 kids and 2 adults) for the first ever time after driving one and a half hours there. Our waitress was awesome, great especially with our kids who changed their minds on what food they wanted last second. The food was truly great. Burnt ends were my favorite! & so many options for a good drink. Can’t wait to go back to try something new.

Loved my visit to Summit Smokehouse! Their burnt ends were to die for, the Mac was soo delicious, the service was amazing, and my Cow Catcher Red was everything! 100% will be back. Drove 1.5 hours for this and have no regrets. Thank you Summit Smokehouse!! :)

This place has a great atmosphere, wide selection of beers on tap and the food it to die for. All of the smoked meats are full of juice and flavor. I couldn't stop eating even after my brain told me I should. The Steam Engine Stout paired with the smokyness of the meat is next level!

My first time and will not be back. Would give service a 0 star, waitress probably came to the table once or twice. Portion size was small for the price we were charged. Food was cold. One of our guests didn't even get one of the drinks they asked for.

Atmosphere is the highlight of our dinner. Food was cold…. Would have a higher rating if it was warm and if they could supply all the items that are stated on menu. Service is excessively rude, management consistently on their phone. First and last time we will be here.
