Its a good hibachi experience. Good food. Prices are where you expect them to be. I have had better hibachi, BUT that experience was also significantly more expensive. This is a great option for date night. Family of five can easily hit 200 with a tip.

The food was great.Had a dragon roll sushi. It was fresh and wonderful. They also have hibachi grills which I did not try.

Came in on June 23rd with a group to eat after our wedding. Food was excellent service was great and everyone loved the hibachi experience. My go to spot for sushi in Mount Pleasant!

My wife and I have been going to this place for years. It's an amazing place with an amazing experience and great staff.

They do have a 20% mandatory gratuity for the hibachi booths, however it is 100% earned by the chefs.

The food and hibachi chef was awesome. However, our waitress Emily was new (I hope). She forgot a lot of our order and at the end of the night messed up our checks very badly. There was no offer from management to compensate for our very long wait until they fixed everything, or the multiple charges that were made to our cards. We were celebrating a birthday and under the impression that they offered a complementary dessert, however when we checked out it was not free of charge. It wasn't a super big deal, but if you are charging for a birthday dessert, or even a partial charge for the dessert, the customer should be informed of the cost ahead of time. Overall, we left frustrated. I am not sure that I would return again any time soon.

Best restaurant experience I've had in a while especially with a toddler. Super fun, hype, positive atmosphere us and the kid loved it. Food was excellent and was quick and employees were attentive. Will be sitting at a hibachi table next time.

What an amazing sushi & steak house! The sushi was fresh and very good. The filet was melt in your mouth tender. Appetizers of crab rangoons and Kani salad were made to perfection. The restaurant was very clean and well kept. The wait staff was very accommodating and kept tabs on how our dinner was. I would recommend Sumo Sushi & Steak House if you're looking for a new place.

My wife and I visited our son and his girlfriend in Mt Pleasant for their 21st birthdays. They wanted to try Sumo Sushi & Steak House, and we're glad they did because it was delicious! My wife had the spicy shrimp roll. I had the vegetable lo mein. My son's gf had shrimp fried rice. My son had a bunch of stuff as pictured here. We all enjoyed our food and if we go back, we will try the hibachi side.

I'm very irritated with this place. No noodles included in hibachi. Low amount of food. 20% gratuity included in the total already. It was not the greatest food. Vegetables weren't even cooked they were all crunchy. Hibachi chefs were great though.
