My late husband & I used to eat at Texas Roadhouse every week - we loved the food, the atmosphere & the staff, this was 10yrs ago before he died in an auto accident. Due to where I now live I haven't eaten at Texas Roadhouse in a long time. Tonight while in Mt Pleasant for a work conference & looking for a place for dinner I said it's gotta be Roadhouse! I ordered all my favorites -cheese fries,chicken critters and of course the rolls!!! By the time I took a bite of my steak I was in tears because it was EXACTLY how I remembered our date nights, it took me back in an instant and I just burst into tears. If you've lost someone, you know. Anyway our server Ashlyn was just an absolute gem!! Excellent customer service & as sweet as can be! I just want to say thank you for a delicious meal and overall amazing experience! We will definitely be making the drive from Omer to eat here again!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Firstly, the place is too loud (as usual) with staff talking and singing much louder than necessary. Our waitress brought our meal then completely disappeared for at least 10 minutes - which was a problem since my porterhouse was way overcooked - more well done than the medium rare I ordered. They brought a second porterhouse (which was medium - barely pink) but ridiculously fatty and sinewy to the point where I just gave up trying to cut it. Additionally, my caesar salad was absolutely drenched in dressing - to the point where the croutons were soggy - and the mushrooms on my wife’s ribeye were burnt to a crisp. By far the worst meal we’ve ever had at this restaurant.
After my review, I was contacted by restaurant management asking for additional information - and was offered one free menu item as compensation. It’s appreciated, but doesn’t alter my original review.

Service is outstanding. Management was obviously top notch. Food was great. Clean friendly, wait time was spot on.
We frequent this location often but have never had such good service Ethan was our server and was a total rockstar. Great manners, didn't bother us while we were eating, observed from a distance and was just all around awesome! When you go there ask for him Team Ethan!
