We loved these pasties and ate them multiple times while we were in town. They were slightly different on different days, but always good.
Their menu board clearly stated a vegan pastie, and the bag it comes in is stamped vegan. They are a good size and are made with 8 different veggies including potatoes, onions, carrots, rutabaga, broccoli, cauliflower, and 2 more I dont remember. The pastry is substantial enough to hold the filling without being doughy. They are made daily. My husband and I ordered 2 while we were camping in the area and went back for more before leaving town.
great pasties with gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options!
Absolutely LOVELY cashier for the pastys, great energy and very kind man
Was visiting from NY and needed to have some tasty pasties to take home.
The breakfast, yooper, and Rueben special were all flavorful and filling.
I was able to bring home pre frozen pasties, on a bed of ice, for an 18 hour trip, with no issue.
I’ll be back…
We got to the store at 8:30 and even though they closed at 8 the door was still open and the gentlemen who was working turned back on the lights and welcomed us in. We got 3 of the yoopers. They were the best Pasties we’ve ever had. Friendly, helpful and delicious. England can keep whatever the hell they make over there..
My partner and I each enjoyed a Yooper for lunch. Had no idea what to expect but we both enjoyed them. Got 1 as a meal and shared the coleslaw slaw and split the cookie. Service was friendly and he explained what pastas are and the different options. Good lunch!
For my first ever pasty it was the best. The staff were very friendly. the pasties were super good
Great ice cream a little bit of a wait since she was the only worker but she was working hard and kept a great attitude throughout our experience
If you haven't tried em, well ya gotta! Yumm!

Tried Miners Pasty Kitchen to experience a true northern Michigan tradition. Pasties are savory pastries brought over by Cornish miners, typically filled with meat and vegetables. I’m glad I tried it. It was tasty and felt authentic, but don’t expect a high protein meal. Mine had minimal meat and leaned more veggie heavy.
At $9 each, they’re on the pricier side for what you get, but it was a good cultural food stop, especially since several locals highly recommended it. Worth trying once, though not something I’d come back for.

Delicious Pasties, fun server
Don't forget ice-cream after meal
A great youpper pasty. Meaty, traditional eight bucks, worth it
I appreciate the availability of a vegan pasty but the filling (carrots, potatoes, rutabagas, broccoli and cauliflower) was bland. Pasty case was tasty and well-done though.
Both the breakfast pasty and the yooper pasty are incredible! The lady at the register was very friendly and answered some touristy questions me and my wife had as well.
