Excellent tacos with a local flair! We tried the whitefish tacos, the American and the locally made chorizo tacos…all delicious. Dee was a fantastic server and made our visit special. Glad we stopped here on our way through town. Easy location, excellent parking, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

The Happy Hippo Taco is DELICIOUS! We were there July 12 it was rainy and busy. We sat inside, it is a very small area. It took a while to get our food, byt it was worth it! We also had the chorizo taco and chicken taco.

I recently visited the Tacopotamus restaurant at 104 E Munising Ave, in Munising, MI. This restaurant was recommended to me while visiting the area. They mentioned a new owner or chef that just got there. I ordered the whitefish taco and it was delicious. There were ample amounts of all the ingredients. Definitely worth a visit while exploring the area. I would have liked them to have unsweetened tea but that's ok.

It's a mix of dine-in and fast food. The waiter or waitress only brings food out, doesn't refill drinks, or take your orders at the table; you have to order at the counter. Water is also not free. Food is delicious tho, and the view of the town is nice!
