Stopped here for lunch while making my way home across the Upper Peninsula.
Basic food, which isn't a bad thing, the chicken tenders filled the void perfectly.
Lots a different local brews in cans to choose from.

The Dogpatch was recommended to us by other traveling friends and we went this week. Most of us ordered the Lonesome Pole burger and fries and both were among the best burger and fries I have ever had. Kay, our server, had worked there for 40 years and was kind, attentive, funny and personable. Great experience!

What a cool place to eat. We were visiting the area for the weekend and had dinner here. All four of us had a great dinner, plenty of food. Local beer was awesome. Our waitress was awesome and the service was excellent. Not sure why the reviews are low.

Given the way they describe their breakfast dishes, I was hoping for something a bit better than the spongy, microwaved-from-frozen tasting sausage links and overcooked eggs we got. Service was also subpar.... Our server seemed rushed and grumpy, never asked what we wanted to drink just brought out water for everyone, and rushed us through ordering. Disappointing all around.

Girlfriends of the Munising High School class of 1972 had a wonderful gathering for lunch at the Dogpatch yesterday. The food according to all 11 of us was outstanding, service was excellent (despite the fact a bus load of people came in right before us!) and best of all they happily accommodated us and treated us fantastic.

Enjoyed the white fish basket and fried pickles . Stopped in for lunch and my wife and I decided to split the basket. I'm glad we did because the basket had plenty for food for both of us.

We ate there yesterday and we had a very unpleasant time. The service never offered us a refill. Also, I accidentally dropped my knife, and even though the staff saw it, they didn't offer to bring me a fresh one. We ordered 2 x the Whitefish basket for $23. It was two pieces of fried fish, and the fish underneath the batter had still the skin on.
