We have been to this restaurant many times while snowmobiling in the Munising area, but this time on a fall visit to the upper Peninsula. When we arrived at 7 PM on a Thursday night, there were several people in line ahead of us, but I noticed no one was at the bar so we attempted to sit there and were told that they were not serving at the bar because there was no bartender! The servers were actually seating guests when their tables opened up because there wasn't a hostess...
Went in on the slow Tuesday morning. Got the Senator Angud critterman was 80% raw than medium rare, the sunny side up fried eggs were still ways under cooking. Then my stomach got upset and mild diarrhea in late afternoon of the same day..
Ordered three burgers and the wing dings. Food was delicious. We tried to order to go, but they wouldn’t do a to go order, so they told us we had to order and then box our food immediately after getting it. Seems odd but overall they were friendly and the food was good enough I’d go back next time I’m here.
