Sam was a delight and so accommodating to my wife’s gluten allergy. All of his fried fish is GF. By the way, his location has moved to the Midway General Store. It is a 15 minute drive from the location posted in Google, but definitely worth it.
Absolutely superb experience at The Fish Basket food truck last Friday! I’d heard he could make gluten free fish and chips, and Sam confirmed it. All of it is gluten free, and he checked that his coleslaw and tartar sauce was dairy free as well, for me. We got a half pound to split between the two of us, and it was a 10/10! Hand cut fries, and crispy whitefish, (skin-on, zero fishy flavor), straight from Lake Superior. Piping hot, salt & pepper to perfection, fried right...
