First off, I lived in Texas for over 20 years, so I've had a lot of good BBQ in my life. But so far being up here in Michigan working a contract, I have not found any good BBQ in Michigan, until now. OVK BBQ is pretty damn good. I got the Ribs and Rib tips. Both were pretty good. Tender and juicy and lots of flavor. Will definitely go back for more. So if you are in the mood for BBQ, give OVK BBQ a try, you won't regret it.
I had the rib tip dinner with Mac and cheese, potato salad and a grape Faygo. The food was delicious, nice size portions and super friendly staff. If you see the truck around town you should definitely pick up some food.
Lovely little place next to the road. The BBQ tastes great, can be a little spicy for some (my Mom) but I found it sweet with an edge of heat. I was a bit disappointed by the quality of the sides given how good the meats taste, but it was otherwise a great place.
