Always Sonny Cupcakes & Tea

It's been almost 3 years since I last had a cupcake. But I still remember the amazing sour apple one. Lately been craving them and I'll definitely be making the hour drive for it! Plus when i did go in. They were always so sweet and really fun to be around.

Bertha is one of the sweetest and most gracious ladies I have ever met. The people who post 1 star reviews are liars (it's probably actually just one person with multiple accounts).

Not a good experience!!

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience!! She the owner Bertha is extremely rude!! Try to upcharge you for cupcakes she bought from Walmart, when asked about it she will threaten you and call you racist. Definetly not how a professional business should be ran. Was hoping everyone was wrong about her but I learned the hardway. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

Bertha has been scamming people for years. She orders her cupcakes from Walmart and decorates them herself. Her customer service skills sucks. No matter what business she has, she is never open at the advertised times. Bertha had a hair salon and was charging people $500 for lace front wigs that were not custom made. She ordered the wigs from an Asian hair vendor. One of Muskegon biggest scam artists. It's okay to have a business and sell products from others, but don't try to pass the products off as your own. No wonder none of her businesses ever last past a couple of years. She proclaims to be a Christian and always tell people that she will pray for them, when all she does is prey on them.

Bertha made German chocolate cupcakes for my wedding and they were absolutely amazing! All my guests loved them. Highly recommend!

Beautiful decor, great tasting cupcakes. I am very impressed by the owner's tenacity, strength, hard work and dedication to her business.

The gentleman that submitted a complaint about rudeness at Meijer.....2 things about that. 1) She was probably at Meijer buying the cupcakes to sell at her store or at the Farmer's Market. 2) she claims she wouldn't act that way in public but about 3 weeks ago got extremely worked up and rude with someone at the Farmer's Market. She isn't licensed, doesn't follow most parts of the cottage law (which is insulting to those that actually work hard down there at the market), and won't last at the mall. You weren't there this past Saturday 07/15/17 and a few weeks ago on a Tuesday the store wasn't open. Strange how a cupcake I purchased today has the same exact ingredients listed as cupcakes from Walmart. Stop pawning stuff off as yours when it clearly isn't. 1 star was too much but I couldn't go lower. All you do is make your own frosting (maybe) and garnish your store bought cupcakes. If you did make your own, you'd know what's actually in them when you label your horrible packaging at the market. I'll never come back to you and would encourage others to follow the same path.

Wonderful place. I had an adult tea party and it was so much fun. She supplied everything we needed! Can't wait to have another's!!!

Horrible customer service even out of her store. I ran into her at Meijer at the self checkout and i was clearly in line first. she walked up on her phone not paying attention and thought i cut her when I went to the next available lane. She instead of asking me what I was doing automatically assumed that I had cut her and she made a huge scene when i tried to explain to her that I had been in line for 4 minutes and there was just a longer line that had cleared​ up. She thought that there was a left side line and a right side line since there are two sides and she came up on thr opposite side from where I was standing and a lane cleared so she thought it was hers. instead of trying to let me explain she just started screaming at me and makig a big scene over nothing. I would never recommend using her to anyone she's a mean hearted person.

OMG!!! The best cupcakes my son and I ever had! He even ate the hole thing and that never happens it's usually just the frosting and he's done but not this time!! I highly recommend stopping and getting one even if it's for the road she puts it in a nice container so it doesn't get smashed Also to top it off she was very nice to us, great customer service!
